Rougeholic

Well, rougeholic, literally, is never the word for me. i never really into lip stick / lip gloss / lip gel, because i really dislike the feeling of having my lips covered by these products. i won’t even apply lip balm unless i must do so – which means my lips are bleeding as the result of being too dry. Even though there was a time i enjoy buying, due to the beautiful colour, i seldom apply them. So not environmental friendly, i know, please avoid doing so!

Not long ago a craze of lip sticks was brought up by the Korean drama, and i was so proud of myself that i didn’t buy any. This is not easy, really, one can hardly resist when seeing this beautiful pictures.

Now the craze is finally over…at least not as strong, all of a sudden i have this crave, that i rushed out to buy one during my one-hour lunch break…

The one i bought is the Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 2. i couldn’t help picking it up the moment i saw it, very cute packing, and travel friendly due to the small size. Before applying Lip Polish, i first apply the lip balm and wait 1 – 2 minute(s). And i only apply a few drops on the inner part of the lips (i am not sure if this is considered as gradient). i always think my mouth would look a bit too big if fully pigmented, while to do it this way gives a better shape and also a better shade. Lips moisturized instantly, but not sticky as expected. For me, it’s quite long lasting, another merit.

Well, this one, i think i would not just leave it there.

Begin Again

Folks, have you watched the amazing Begin Again?

Yes? No? Well, if the answer is a no, you may consider spending some time with this movie. It really is a nice one. True, the plot is a bit old-fashioned, but at least not bored; and within the two hours, you gotta listen to some really nice songs, you gotta see around New York City, and Keira is so beautiful which adds extra credits to the movie.

Well in this entry i want to share Keira’s style in the movie, which is totally the way i would dress myself.

The first word comes to my mind: comfy! Comfy is always the most important thing to me when comes to clothing, and wearing loose is definitely the key to comfy. i am totally into this style, loose top matching with loose trousers. To avoid being too boyish, go with pink or other girly colours will do. However, this is also one of the most difficult styles to carry out. To dress this style in a nice way, one gotta be thin AND tall. Otherwise, one might end up looking like a walking ball…at least, no style at all.

Or you can match with nice cutting harem pants

Instead of choosing one shows ankles, i would suggest go for rolled up, like Victoria. The roll helps enhance the style a whole lot. By browsing online, i see many people like to match harem pants with heels or wedges, but for me, i definitely prefer going with flip-flops or sandals, after all, comfy is what i am asking for. And if you choose wise, trust me, you really don’t need heels.

i love dressing boyish. A plain slim-fit cotton T-shirt, a pair of boyfriend jeans (rolled up!) matching with a pair of nice Oxford Shoes, how does this sound to you? To me, definitely PERFECT! Stylish, boyish, artistic, comfy.

And whenever going with the loose/oversize clothes, boyfriend jeans, i have my hair tie up. Besides avoid looking messy, tying up my hair would enhance the look, and also makes me look slimmer and taller

That’s all i want to share, in words, i hope you enjoyed reading this entry.
